With the brief patch of nice weather, everyone in town was outdoors having family barbecues. I was leaving my house to go somewhere and got beckoned over to the neighbour’s house to come join them. They were eating a moose that someone had shot the day before. They sent me home with a shoulder to pick clean.

We finally got a nice day, so we headed to the beach for a fire and some marshmallows. We’re also hitting the time of the year where the sun is starting to set at a reasonable hour (~9:30), so we actually get to see sunsets now.
