Maciek’s work gave him some country food! He brought home snow geese from Sachs Harbour, Arctic char from Ulukhaktok, and akpiks (cloudberries). Now we’ve got a whole bunch of cooking to do!

Moose head

I was sorting through my photos and found this one from a few months ago of a moose head I found on the side of the road right next to town. Just a casual reminder that we live in the kind of place where people just toss their moose heads by the side of the road until an animal comes and drags them off.
