Maciek continued the tradition of making me a fancy northern birthday cake – this one was a chocolatepalooza!

Now that we’re in a bigger town, Maciek has started the Inuvik Book Club. The Inuvik Book Club is much more official and affiliated with the public library (which obtains the selected books for us), and even has a fancy website. We’ve had two meetings so far, and turnout has been pretty good (~8 people each time).
Maciek MC’ed a murder mystery party at the greenhouse this summer. He even made up a fancy website for it. It was well attended (23 people), and had all the scandal, intrigue, and betrayal that we’ve come to expect from murder mystery parties.
It was such a big deal that it was featured in the local newspaper not once, but twice!
