I finally got a chance to check out Snowking while I was out in Yellowknife. Maciek got to go two years ago, and I’ve wanted to see it ever since I heard about it. It was closed while I was there, but I got to walk around the outside and see the castle itself, which was nautically-themed this year.

*Snowking actually had to shut down two weeks early this year due to the unseasonably warm weather. This is the first time in 24 years that it has had to close.

There’s a lynx that’s been hanging around just outside of town. He’s been hanging out in the same spot for a few days now, so he must be getting himself some good bunnies.
