I was told that Klik is a local favorite, especially with hunters. So, I decided to give it a go.

Klik is meat that comes in a can. Klik’s can has a key attached for easy opening when you’re out on the land.

Each can has 340g of Klik and up here costs somewhere in the $3-$5 range. That’s around the $10-$15/kg norm for crappy meat.

Maciek: Klik tastes pretty much how you’d expect it too. Would eat again.

Faye: Klik tastes almost exactly like salt.

The case of the missing muffin pan

Written by:

After making mini-moose pies last week, our muffin pan mysteriously disappeared. We searched the whole house. Where could the muffin pan have gone? We didn’t take it anywhere, and it’s not a small item that can be easily misplaced.

Today, the mystery was solved. It turns out that the storage area under our oven is designed in such a way that items occasionally get pushed back into the space under the oven drawer. While retrieving the muffin tin, we also discovered a second baking tray and a pizza pan in the same cranny, neither of which we were aware that we owned. Neato!
